European history from about 1930-1945, as well as bits of Japanese/Chinese history from the same period. Always found the politics in this period very intresting.

But can you back it up? What I'm really intersted in, is what you know most about. I coul ask you about the history of the Hague, but what could you tell me that I don't allready know? I really think that this is quite interesting.

I like to read history in general of anytime or anywhere, not an expert in any. But I bet nobody here knows a lot about the Taino indians of Borikén ( pre Spanish Puerto Rico ).

I know quiet a bit about WWII and Alot on Polish history. I have God's Playground and its a preatty good read. I hope on learning more on 1600-1700 period of european history.

It would seem that I have got to read 'God's playground'. That name keeps popping up where ever polish history pops up. What part of 1600-1700 are you interested in? A lot of people seem to know a lot about a certain time frame, but in all honousty, it seems unlikely to me that anyone would know everything. So it is also quite difficult to learn everything...

I've read a lot on German history 1840-now, and I read whatever I can find about the Byzantine Empire as well as generally anything about the middle ages and the baroque. (EU2)

Only the linguistic question of their relation to Macro-Siouan, but I bet you know more of their history than I do. Officially, my area is Iroquoian protohistory. My never finished doctoral dissertation would have dealt with the origin of the League. But history is a fascination for me, so I've read up on lots of stuff.
