WHat other PI games would I like?

hey, could some of you guys give me a few tips?

I am a huge fan of the europa universalis and hearts of iron franchise, really love the strategy and depth in the games! (also bought king arthur for 3 euros off steam, but never really liked it) and I wanted to know if you guys could give me some tips for some upcoming games/current games that I also may enjoy that come from PI.

any ideas?

Well, since you love both EU and HOI I think many of PI's grand strategy games would interest you.

What's currently out, you might want to take a look at Victoria 2, Pride of Nations and possibly Arsenal of Democracy and Iron Cross (the last two I mention because I see you have Darkest Hour). I didn't look into Supreme Ruler: Cold War yet, but it's a bit different fare from the others, imho.

Concerning upcoming titles, Magna Mundi should definitely interest you if you like EU. Crusader Kings 2 will be PI's next big internal title and is bound to be marvelous. Next month, Sengoku will release (sort off CK:Japan), so you might want to look into that one. For upcoming titles, Dev Diaries are a good way to get to know the game, and all three have plenty of those.

If I'd have to call one title, it would be Victoria 2. You're bound to like that one if you like EU3 and HOI3.

tried vicky 2 at a friends, didnt really like it. what do you mean with crusader kings 2 being PI next big INTERNAL (?) title???

sengoku I will really think about, looks really nice. dont know yet too much about magna mundi

Internal as in internally developed. By their own people. The following games are developed internally:
Crusader Kings
Europa Universalis
Victoria
Hearts of Iron
Sengoku
Rome
And a few older ones from the before-time.

sengoku I will really think about, looks really nice. dont know yet too much about magna mundi

Magna Mundi seems to become EU on steroids, though that analogy doesn't really do it justice if dev diaries are any indication.

It's not part of the EU series, but it's build on the engine of EU3. Magna Mundi is the most popular mod for EU3. Ubik, the lead Magna Mundi modder, has been given access to the EU3 source code to develop his own game (Magna Mundi: the Game) with a team with much of the Manga Mundi modders.

IIRC, they changed 70% of the code, so it ought to be quite a different beast than EU3.

wait so magna mundi is being created basically by fans, off a mod? pretty nice


and I wil definetly look at magna mundi and sengoku (depending on the reviews of course) but could you recommend me any games that one can already buy? (age doesnt matter, just should NOT be part of the HoI or EU series)
