But isn't it now change in trade power in the node? Also, when you send trade-ships to protect trade, the tool-tip's predictions for how much money you'll make/lose have little- to no grounding in reality.

I wouldn't be so hasty to say that, wiz already said he'd look at one or two of the issues mentioned here.I think this thread is a bit pointless at this particular moment as we will get to see patch notes at like 10 days and many of points can be already covered...
That's what happens when Spain is finished colonizing all of N. America. They go West and wind up in Russia and colonize E. Russia aka Siberia.
True but I feel any suggestion should take into account the current state of the game so while talking a rework that also adds CNs too is fine(even great) saying to add CNs without anything more is flat out no.Then its the mechanics and the system that needs reworked, not the idea of adding more CN's, especially ones that are of a lot of historical importance.
It would be good if the Caribbean islands (the Lesser Antilles) were colonized by different countries, but have Cuba and Hispaniola be separate and be controlled by one specific. Maybe missions where countries are pushed to getting at least one of the Lesser Antilles islands.
Ooh yes. I wish that claims until the day after the truce ends, so that you could declare war instantly to keep them. It feels so sad when a decision or event gives me claims that I know I won't be able to take (forming Qing, anyone?)
Yes, Yes, Yes. I am sick of being called to war by OPMs to fight petty (and not so petty) wars and have them think I like them more for it!I can be an small nation allied to Austria/France/Ottomans who will join my offensive war, get depleted in manpower, get a ton of loans and win the war for me, even if they want nothing in the war and get absolutely nothing in return (except when they have occupied cores/claims). Infact this gives positive modifiers and builds trust.
I guess that's why CKII is more fun to play over a period of time. But EUIV superiority multiplayer. The boredom that ensues every time, every save when you grow too big.
As an Indian nation you'll be able to negotiate for their Indian land if either
A) You have taken their forts in India
or
B) They have no forts in India
Similarly, if France attacks England and occupies Normandie, they can demand Normandie but not Wales.
Pretty sure it's gonna be ficed in 1.12.Something else that needs to be fixed: That fact that I have to wait to play the expansion!
There was some kind of event like that yes, Once I was playing as the ottomans and that event fired ON ME and I was in a coalition against myself, i reverted to an older save just because I couldn't leave the coalition against myself and I had no idea what the end result would be when a coalition war broke out on meI know of two problems that are minor in nature but need to be fixed. I was playing as the Inca and I don't know how it happened but somehow the USA got put into a coalition against itself and was stuck like that for the entire game.
That is because your colonist automatically changes the culture and religion of a province, So as soon as the event fired, the colonist changed the culture back to "english"Also in this other game I was playing as GBR and the first colonist I sent was to Canada and as soon as it arrived the event for provinces changing to American culture popped up for that province, the event didn't even do anything though the culture stayed the same.
