I think this thread is a bit pointless at this particular moment as we will get to see patch notes at like 10 days and many of points can be already covered...
I wouldn't be so hasty to say that, wiz already said he'd look at one or two of the issues mentioned here.

Then its the mechanics and the system that needs reworked, not the idea of adding more CN's, especially ones that are of a lot of historical importance.

It would be good if the Caribbean islands (the Lesser Antilles) were colonized by different countries, but have Cuba and Hispaniola be separate and be controlled by one specific. Maybe missions where countries are pushed to getting at least one of the Lesser Antilles islands.
True but I feel any suggestion should take into account the current state of the game so while talking a rework that also adds CNs too is fine(even great) saying to add CNs without anything more is flat out no.

Fixed. Hmmmm.
A New Zealand and Pacific colonial region?
Otherwise most of what I want has been well summed up.

If you want to disagree about NZ region, I am all to happy to explain why there should be.

I hope the bug where the AI still likes to leave it's troops exiled for years on end is fixed. Same goes for the AI converting it's land to the proper religion. I also hope army tradition and prestige are modified. Where they are currently is not ideal. Win a massive battle? how about .2 army tradition and 1.2 prestige(with a bunch of modifiers, like say the 100% in offensive).(an example) You are better off carpet sieging then winning battles. I also wonder if PP will be improved, as taking land for your vassals from your rival does not count.

This seems like another opportunity for me to remind you to please fix Sweden's government type in the history files. An expansion with special mechanics surrounding Constitutional Monarchies would lend itself excellently for an Age of Liberty campaign, but currently Sweden stays a Feudal Monarchy all the way into 1821.

Please keep the periods in 1458-1464, 1498-1500 and 1504-1521 where Sweden starts as a Noble Republic, though, because that's fucking hilarious!

I'd really like if the English Civil War could be a disaster. Especially with the new Parliament mechanics and how the Janissaries become one.

Currently it's one of the most stupid and arbitrary DHE things in the game.

I'd actually say in general a lot of stuff like that should become Disasters instead of DHE's.

In a recent patch (and I don't think its been fixed since) modding diplomatic actions got bugged. You can't seem to change the requirements for annexaction, for example. I think I recall Captain Gars saying he'll look into this, but it would be great if that was fixed.

Power projection should be gained for giving provinces to vassals (just like AE).

Call for peace for non-warleaders (or remove the separate peace malus).

War, wargoals and peace involving allies needs a lot of improvement. I can be an small nation allied to Austria/France/Ottomans who will join my offensive war, get depleted in manpower, get a ton of loans and win the war for me, even if they want nothing in the war and get absolutely nothing in return (except when they have occupied cores/claims). Infact this gives positive modifiers and builds trust.

Yes, Yes, Yes. I am sick of being called to war by OPMs to fight petty (and not so petty) wars and have them think I like them more for it!
More often I feel like disolving alliance and smashing them into the Americas and back. Unless, of course, they're an Elector in which case......

The boredom that ensues every time, every save when you grow too big.
I guess that's why CKII is more fun to play over a period of time. But EUIV superiority multiplayer.

As an Indian nation you'll be able to negotiate for their Indian land if either
A) You have taken their forts in India
or
B) They have no forts in India

Similarly, if France attacks England and occupies Normandie, they can demand Normandie but not Wales.

Let's say I'm Russia, and I have a ring of forts protecting all of my coast and borders. However, I leave the interior fortless, because I'm already paying out of the nose for the border forts. Can an enemy demand one of my interior provinces even if they haven't occupied anything there? Or does one fort protect a relatively large region from annexation without occupation?

EDIT: I've also had a problem with gold fleets not being activated despite having gold-producing CN's, and having my main trade port downstream from them. Gold fleets work fine for Portugal, so I think it resulted from me moving my trade port, because it wasn't previously downstream. Has this been fixed for the new patch? Any responses to my bug report post were wiped when the forum updated.

AI failing to ever move exiled troops.

Guess what happens when Poland and its dependencies stack all of their men save for 13k Lithuanians in the Austrian Netherlands just before the war ends?

They get annexed by Pomerania, that's what.

I know of two problems that are minor in nature but need to be fixed. I was playing as the Inca and I don't know how it happened but somehow the USA got put into a coalition against itself and was stuck like that for the entire game. Also in this other game I was playing as GBR and the first colonist I sent was to Canada and as soon as it arrived the event for provinces changing to American culture popped up for that province, the event didn't even do anything though the culture stayed the same.

There was some kind of event like that yes, Once I was playing as the ottomans and that event fired ON ME and I was in a coalition against myself, i reverted to an older save just because I couldn't leave the coalition against myself and I had no idea what the end result would be when a coalition war broke out on me

It happened a long time ago, So I can't recall what happened in detail

Also in this other game I was playing as GBR and the first colonist I sent was to Canada and as soon as it arrived the event for provinces changing to American culture popped up for that province, the event didn't even do anything though the culture stayed the same.
That is because your colonist automatically changes the culture and religion of a province, So as soon as the event fired, the colonist changed the culture back to "english"
