The continuation of the truce timer to
the end of the month, despite the nice shiny pop-up telling you it has finished. I understand the reasons but there must be a more elegant solution.

Also rebel stats seems to a bit hit and miss to how correct they are.

The attach to unit check box, may or may not work for allies. It has unpredictable results. I've lost many 1K units that way..... It needs to lock the other units in place dependibly. Maybe have a desired army with it. eg I would like 10 infantry and 10 cannons to attach to this army that I am leading (probably too complex, but oh well, it would be awesome).

Allow us to lead other nations units to war in overseas locations. It is difficult to attack England with allies the way things are. Of course, we could use this for evil by leaving them there, breaking the alliance, and declaring war on them....

Transfer siege control. I can take an allies province by moving out of the location and back in on the same day (if the ally follows me). I would like to be able to take over a siege leader if I am the war leader.

I would like a popup and pause when a rebellion reaches 90%. -- really, please do this!

I would like a build in best location button. I know I need more manpower. Can I just hit a button to build an arsenal in the best available location? Can I just build 5 temples where they would be most effective without having to scan my provinces for the best location?
Why should you be able to lock an allies units to your own, they are independent and can do whatever they like.

Ooh yes. I wish that claims until the day after the truce ends, so that you could declare war instantly to keep them. It feels so sad when a decision or event gives me claims that I know I won't be able to take (forming Qing, anyone?)

They both in real life had enough capacity and the economy to be their own colonial nations. Hispaniola could even be given the famous Tortuga island which was a pirate haven. That way they have the amount of provinces needed to qualify as a CN.

Also, when you send trade-ships to protect trade, the tool-tip's predictions for how much money you'll make/lose have little- to no grounding in reality.

The Danish disaster 'Counts Feud' needs fixed.

Not sure if needing 3 stability to end it is WAD, but the fact you then get +1 stability as a reward at the end is obviously stupid, as is the random 50 ducats.

Not a major issue as it isn't Peasant War level of annoying, but nevertheless it could do with a fix.

Hispaniola already has five provinces, so a CN can already form there. That said, I would love to see the island of Tortuga added.

Ideally, I think Cuba and Hispaniola should be separate colonial regions, and the rest of the Antilles should be made into a trade region instead of a colonial region. As it is now, the whole area tends to get swallowed up by single power (especially with the Treaty of Tordesillas) and then form a single new nation after independence. That's weird to me. I definitely agree we should be encouraging diversity of settlement in the Caribbean, not preventing it.

I've seen AI nahuatl states with < 50 doom and five vassals refuse to reform. Granted, this refusal gave them a stronger position against me, but when they had doomsday anyway a couple decades later, they ended up worse off than they started.

Alaska because it is rather pointless but the rest because colonization on the border between regions nets pretty arbitrary CNs so the more borders the worse it gets. It is most visible in between Argentina/Brazil and Canada/USA where pretty much every game I see two 6 province CNs and/or a CN with 5 province and 3 belonging to mother nation but Louisiana gets some pretty stupid scenarios with all it's neighbours too.

Aside from that and for this one specifically(Don't have ED where I presume is different) currently in Caribbean I often see 3-4 different CNs mostly all over the place so there would be same number or even less CNs with a bunch of scattered provinces from mother nations.

Also I've found situations where I've had to seperate peace when joining a weaker ally's war after helping them push the WS up past 50% and occupying all their claims plus a few other territories and transferring the occupation in order for them to actually make peace for significant gains. If I don't bail on them, they probably won't peace unless I pushed their foe (let's say Russia) from st. petersburg to iberian siberia, and in the end all they'd do is make them pay war reps and release a few minor states.

Alaska because it is rather pointless but the rest because colonization on the border between regions nets pretty arbitrary CNs so the more borders the worse it gets. It is most visible in between Argentina/Brazil and Canada/USA where pretty much every game I see two 6 province CNs and/or a CN with 5 province and 3 belonging to mother nation but Louisiana gets some pretty stupid scenarios with all it's neighbours too.

Aside from that and for this one specifically(Don't have ED where I presume is different) currently in Caribbean I often see 3-4 different CNs mostly all over the place so there would be same number or even less CNs with a bunch of scattered provinces from mother nations.


Then its the mechanics and the system that needs reworked, not the idea of adding more CN's, especially ones that are of a lot of historical importance.

It would be good if the Caribbean islands (the Lesser Antilles) were colonized by different countries, but have Cuba and Hispaniola be separate and be controlled by one specific. Maybe missions where countries are pushed to getting at least one of the Lesser Antilles islands.
