And what would that do? Burgundy is already a kingdom in the game (instead of duchy like it was historically) and they already have their unique set of ideas. Playing as the Burgundian kingdom without forming France or Netherlands is already a perfectly viable alternative.

Well, that can be fixed by a simple visit to the Localization Files. And the whole point of it is to give Burgunndy a third alternative; pushing them into another direction besides forming France or the Netherlands. I actually love the synergy they have with Administrative and Humanist ideas, as well, but I don't think they would want to stay a duchy the entire game. And, if I recall correctly, Romania also had generic NI's when it was introduced as a solution for a nation with generic NI's.

Couto Misto at Iberian Peninsula, which existed from 10th to 19th century between Spain and Portugal. It's really surprising that Spain could resist eating it for 9 centuries.

Not a missing country, but I would want to see the Kingdom of the Isles which has cores at Isle of Mann and Western Isles, flourishing with glorious Manx culture. Well if Paradox ever decides to make Isle of Mann its own province seperated from Cumbria...

Lel I know Isle of Mann had like no man on it, I mean look at its size, but for the strategic position and maybe like a straight to connect Northern Wales, Cumbria, East Scotland and Ulster, also MANX CULTURE. How cool is that! I mean just like Iceland, no pop but you can't deny it's existance.

And yes I must say that I was amazed that anyone from Mann island ever accomplished a thing as a kingdom made out of almost entirely from islands.

The problem with this suggestion is that France already starts the game over its diplo relation limit, I believe (five vassals and a guarantee, when its relation limit is 5). Going any higher and you wind up with a France that actually can't generate enough diplo points to annex its vassals in a reasonable amount of time while also actually playing the game.

Unless that's your aim, in which case I think your aim sucks.

I think that vassals should be changed so that a vassal that is of your accepted culture(s) doesn't count against that limit.

Man is almost the same size as Bornholm and is more densely populated, so why not.

I have no idea. When I tried to look it up, the history went from the Umayyads in the 8th century, then *cough* *ahem*, British rule in the 1800s. So maybe it should just be empty. I don't play hordes much, but I believe they get a colonist at some point, so if the Timurids survive, they will fill it in eventually.

EDIT: The other idea is to just give it to the Timurids. If it has such low BT anyway, it won't throw off the balance too much.

There are some things in the Wiki article http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_Balochistan for the second half of the 15th century at least.

All this talk of Baluchistan reminds me of way back when it was first put into the game, back in EU2. At the time, it was a two-province nation, one province Shia, the other Sunni, and neither were fortified. Players were really confused by continual spam saying "The government of Baluchistan has fallen!" What was happening was that the province with the non-recognized religion would spawn rebels, who would immediately take the (unfortified) province, and then march over and take the other (unfortified) province. The government would fall, and the state religion would change. Then, the other province, now having the (new) non-recognized religion, would rebel, and the process would repeat itself, ad infintum...

I don't really understand what makes Polynesia 'an area for colonisation'. European presence in this area as of 1821 was pretty minor - from the 18th century onwards, there were a few visits bringing Christianity and diseases and some abortive attempts at colonisation, but overall this was one of the last parts of the world to come under European domination. Even from an in-game perspective, colonising Oceania is an afterthought for anyone who would want to colonise - the only reason you'd care if some other power took it is that it makes them harder to get 100% against in a war.

When I said an area for colonization, I'd like to clarify that's not my actual thoughts on the region (implying I gave off that impression, anyway). I only say that because in the fifth dev dairy for Art of War, Besuchov said no playable tags were added in the 1.8 patch to leave the area open for colonization, despite being "aware of the Aborigine and Maori tribes". It really rubbed me the wrong way, seeing Paradox knowingly snub whole peoples like that.

And on the topic of underrepresented peoples, am I the only one who'd like to see at least one Inuit or Aleutian tribe in North America? With the introduction of all the other tribes that weren't there, I was a bit saddened to see the culture group go unused despite being in the game.

As I suspected... I'm glad my province Limburg is represented in EU4, even that isn't historically accurate (but don't tell Paradox!). I mean, I understand, what with HRE border madness and all (see the IRL borders of the Palatinate), and incredibly tiny German states (oh hi Prince-Abbacy of Thorn).

Which reminds me, there's the in-game state of Cleves, with Berg as its capital. How about splitting Cleves and Berg, since they were both neighboring states? I mean so that the state of Cleves then has two provinces: its capital Cleves, and Berg.
