Castille first to learn more about new navy model, colonisation and missions (reconquista! new world! conquista!). They are probably the best faction for learning new stuff in IN. After that Byzantine.

I have a system. Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East are split into 13 groups. To pick a nation to play (for the deconstructed mod), I use my calculator to pick a random number, each one pertains to a region (British Isles, France, Iberia, ect). Then I number all of the nations in that region and pick a random number to select the nation that I play.
I will either follow that, or play as Sicily or Denmark. I've always had a dream of creting a Mediterrainian trade empire where I control all of the islands and other Mediterrainian provinces, such as Gibraltar, Morea, and Calabria, but I never have gotten around to it. Denmark...well, I'm intrigued by its missions.
The final choice will depend on my mood the day that I get IN.

Serbia! After seeing that they have added Kososvo as a province, I fell in love with Serbia. After that, I'll play France, then England, and then I'll have to go the hospital for sleep deprivation.

Well, probably the Anglo-France monster, just for the O_O steamrolleryness of the concept. After about a century of unopposed conquest I'll probably get bored and start another Vijayanagar game, though.
Definitely Byzantium. I just wonder what tech group will it be in. Most probably Eastern, because in Byzantium even word "Latin" is banned...
But if they are Eastern, they will suffer 0,9 tech modifier. It would be very harsh and humiliating for Byzantium to "latinize" (event Waves of influence).

The second will be Bohemia...1399 - reign of Wenceslaus IV Roman Emperor. 20 years before glorious Hussite revolution - does anybody apart from Czechs know that pioneers of firearms were Hussites? They didn't have enough horses and armors to build heavy cavalry, which those despicable crusaders had. So they invented houfnice and pistols (Czech word píšťala - means pipe).
