What music would be good for Imperator Rome

Music reprised and inspired by the EU Rome soundtrack would be good.

I’d like to see music inspired by reproduced ancient music in the game as well.

And finally, for the metal crossover music paradox likes to add to their games for example sabaton for EU4 and Hearts of iron 4, and for ck2 full plate metal and Viking metal as well as pagan fury. I would like folk metal that uses ancient languages in it. The clean vocal songs by Eluveitie would be nice since a lot their music is in Gaulish

I would recommend Daemonia Nymphe, particularly if you are going to play as a Greek country. Beyond them, I would recommend Assassin Creed Odyssey's music, particularly the sea shanties in Greek.

It uses instruments older than this period, but still relevant to the ancient middle east.

That is one of the things I'd like to see in the game - middle eastern music that is not simply "fantasy 1001 nights arabic" or otherwise inspired by far more modern music of the region. And steppe music which is not simply in a much later Turkish ottoman style (btw - I love Turkish music! I just wouldn't want to have obvious anachronisms like with say vanilla Rome Total war).

For anatolian, Kappadokian and the northern parts of the Near East in general I'd suggest things based on Armenian folk music, something like this:

For what I'd call a very decent 'realistic fantasy' steppe music, I'd suggest something like this:

He's using traditional mongol-style sounds, at the same time the tune is belieavable and does not scream "modern Mongol!" or "modern Turkish!" at you.
