Yes, that is one direction for open world music... although this piece is rearranged for that trailer.
Theres alot of norse and scandinavian influences in the score. Some of it is smaller medieval ensembles and voices, some of it is a hybrid with old and new norse instruments and orchestral influences. Although not all of it is written yet and we have some really cool sessions with talented musicians that can play loads of strange instruments coming up.
