What kind of military dictatorship will YOU be running?

I'm curious how everybody's going to be running their authoritarian empires. On the surface it still looks like authoritarian is mostly for the sake of slavery, but at the same time I'm glad that the ethic itself focuses on reducing unrest across your empire, something I very much appreciate when I'm trying to roleplay a race of goats fighting to unify the galaxy by force.

So what's everybody's authoritarian agenda? Mine is, like I said, unifying the galaxy under my flag, using my religious traditions to give everyone a common drive while simultaneously searching for spiritual enlightenment (hopefully without annihilating the galaxy).

Mine will be an Authoritarian Militarist Spiritualist empire. Conquered species will have limited citizenship and will not gain full rights until they prove their loyalty. Long-term adversaries will be indentured before earning limited rights. Rebels and disloyal pops will be enslaved and put into forced labor. Particularly dangerous/rebellious pops will be purged.

Loyalty will be rewarded, disloyalty will be punished. Conquest is the duty of the faithful and the manifest destiny of the Empire.

First time around, with the new additions of Utopia will go with my modified version of the Tzynn that start off as the Tzynn Unified Hives. Xenophobe collectivist millitarists. The brood lords be the non caste bound warriors and scientists, the lesser reptiles being the poor caste-bound worker classes. Slowly expand and eat up lil empires turn their planets into mining worlds, some into farmworlds where we eat em all mwuahahahhaa....and yeah see where it goes from there. Ruthless cold-blooded expansion, maybe make friends with some other worthy sauropod species and enact a great galatic Cold-Blood Diktat.

Not gonna play a dictatorship myself but definitely gonna be a militarist. Probably be a Fanatic Egalitarian/Militarist Representative Democracy and "liberate" galaxy. Who says dictators get to have all the fun?

Assuming slavery is still locked behind Authoritarian... I'll be playing a hyper-corporate state that domesticates the tastiest aliens they encounter (but are otherwise fairly equal in how they treat people, which is "not great").

Probably also my standard varieties of eusocial queen-dominated bugs and such, too.

I have a feeling slavery won't be locked behind authoritarian. It'll just be a helpful factor in reducing it.
