What is your worst and most boring achievment you got?

Baa Baa Black Sheep

It's the only time I can recall where I simply did just enough to get it and then quit the run. Didn't do anything other than boost production in the wool provinces until it fired. Feels a little shameful to be honest, but I did it. Yes, I did.

I did a Qara to Persia run for This Is Persia and I had planned to just dev wool as needed at the end. It randomly popped some time in the game.

I thought Qara was a nice, laid back game. Finagling my expansion amid three large powers all of whom were just itching to enforce peace on me.

My Strait Talk was done by speed 5, 60 galleys...

Wars were brief amusing periods of... speed 5, 60 galleys, check the admiral is there.

It was mildly amusing how badly the AI coped with the idea of a war it couldn't win.

the AI I think breaks down and fundamentally stops working when you start a war it couldn't possibly win. I like to imagine it bawling and beating its chest honestly, with how the AI in paradox games generally is coded to stop the player's goals at all costs. I've seen too many austro-danish alliances as england for me to even remotely care about being fair in EU4 at this point.

The first I think of is "Carthago Delenda Est" which can ruin your campaign, sitting on war exhaustion for no reason.

Hegemony isn't fun either

The WC, and One faith Achievements are fine actually with some interesting choices you have to make along the way.

The Mary of Lotharinga achievement is rather bad as it requires you to disinherit until you get a daughter you can name.

The forever Golden achievement use to be bad as you would often have to release a colonial nation to stop them from promoting develop so you could complete a mission.

Honor mention could be those that require you to have all of X type of provinces in the world, as they really just function as a WC lite.

Marie of Lothringia also works with a consort, it only looks bad on paper but I got it 3x in a row in 3 consecutive Burgundy runs. Just disinherit your heir when your ruler is 60 and you have a Queen named Marie, or if you want to show who's boss you do it with THE Marie of Lothringia Burgundy

As for most boring one, I dont see how anyone could enjoy one faithing, I abandoned that tedium of a campaign so often it actually drains my will to play for weeks

Carthago Delenda est has to be my most hated completed achievement but only because I was too stupid to think about declaring for w/e county to avoid Call for Pizza

Honorable mentions go to ALL the timed achieves, I hate those with a passion, attempted them once, never again, I rather do Rajput Reich.

Cherry Picking, yeah dont actively go for it, just try and play a lot of Japan and you ll eventually get it.

Cathago Delenda Est not only took much longer than I expected, but was also counterintuitive, considering how I was going to take the North African coast off Tunis to prevent raids anyways.

(I also forgot Bizerte was in Tunis and only realised halfway into the devastation process)

I've attempted this one twice and given up both times... I just can't... It's so tedious and counterintuitive to everything, especially if you want to pick up other achievements on the way.

I was going to suggest some other things but honesty nothing comes close to Cathago Delenda Est.

The Tunis one because of the game mechanic and you will have so much war exhausation it is quite stupid and all the native american ones because of the game mechanic system. (Plus Inca Aztec if you reformed and have more money than the spanish but they still attack after loosing a million man or so...)

Carthago Delenda Est for me. I started as Florence and the plan was to have 3 achievements: Carthago, then The Prince of Egypt and then Italian Ambition (that I never did before). Problem is that Carthago took so long and brought me to so high war exhaustion than the Ottos conquered Egypt before I did... and then it was far harder than before.

Right now, I am doing my first game ever as Castille->Spain. Trying to have Spain is the Emperor. I spent the last 25 years with 4 electors heavily in my favor, but the Emperor happily survives above 75 years old, then my king dies at the age of 40-45, I have a consort regency of one year and a half and the Emperor dies while I was not electable...

Every once in a while I skim the achievements and conclude that I'd rather completely stop playing EU4 forever than grind my way through most of what's on the list. I pity anyone with 100% of the EU4 achievements.
