  1. Be able to sponsor / subsidize adventurers and foreign claimants
  2. Be able to exchange territories between vassals / foreign rulers
  3. A Parliament / Diet / Estates-General sub-mechanic as an addition to the Council mechanic
  4. A Will and Last Testament mechanic for realms having Gavelkind succession so that you can decide beforehand which son / daughter gets what titles when you die
  5. Playable inland republics
  6. Allow mod support for female patricians for Merchant Republics (Deactivated in vanilla, mostly for fantasy mods depicting the Drow. Also make it so that Merchant Republics can have either Agnatic or Enatic as their gender laws.)

Disable portions of the map (maybe be de jure kingdom/empire?) Personally, playing in western Europe, I would disable, India, Tartaria, Persia, Ethiopia, Mali... maybe Russia. I just don't want or care about these regions slowing my game down so much.

Turn the game difficulty up to very hard, maybe some added rules about laws, start as a Welsh count, drive out the invaders and work on maintaining power through the centuries, with fairly limited outside interaction.

Or, start in India, disable all of Africa, Europe, the steppe and just leave a bit of Afghanistan/Persia to terrorize India. Then enjoy playing India, ignoring those other troublesome parts of the map.

I would like a fantasy of Entatic Amazon kingdom support.

Yes! The expanded gender mechanics are great now but it'd be cooler if they made it more like the now archaic Better Gender Law mod where women start to act like equals or superiors in cognatic and enatic societies, where vassals often adopt the gender policies of their rulers, and such. If I make a cognatic realm, I want a realm where that gradually becomes the law everywhere. I also want the gender laws to stop reverting to defaults when I hand them out.

I want an option to keep it so the AI will behave historically agnatic for players who want to keep it realistic but one to encourage the AI to make more use of the expanded gender mechanics if the player wants. I noticed that a lot of this might be released soon but I'm skeptical that it will really be what I'm looking for.

1. Possibility to play as female patrician/doge in Merchant Republic. Also allowing to play as inland merchant republic (such as Novgorod the Great).
2. Possibility to build trade posts inland, not only on coastline or Silk Route.
3. Gunpowder (not only cannons, but firearms too). Arquebus was not first firearm in European military, as well as not later than CK II's timeline. During 14th and 15th centuries, the weapons called in polish "rusznica" and his modification, "hakownica" (unfortunately I didn't find english term nor wiki pages in other than Slavic languages for that weapons - google translator recognize them as arquebus instead) were used in European armies (first both on field as in castle's garrison, second mostly for garrison), so there is no reason to ignore them. For example, lack of gunpowder artillery mixed with another reasons has prevented polish and lithuanian forces from succesfully siegeing Marienburg in 1410 after Grunwald's battle, forcing them to abandon siege and secured Teutonic Order's existence in West Prussia until 1466.
4. One-unit type generic retinues, all using the same amount of soldiers - 250 or 500. It'd makes Retinues composition planning easier to organize/calculate, and will works better with currently calculated basic supply and retinues limit.
5. More flavor events/mechanic for non-Norse pagans. Possibility to choose mechanics for pagans when reforming.

Being able to attack anyone, as medieval monarchs did regardless of religion. That the game handcuffs you so obnoxiously compared to EU4, where I can take a stab hit (which I can usually quickly boost via monarch power) is pretty stupid. Also, that I have to "plot" to kill a freaking titleless courtier as a ruler of a major kingdom is also beyond stupid. Sorry, the old Assassinate mechanic was far more realistic. Saracens, and merchant lords sent swarms of assasins at people all the time. If I'm sitting on 25-100k gold I should be able to wipe out a clan with minimal issue.

One annoying thing is how you lose all cultural buildings when your vassals decide to elect your kinsman who has "gone Bedouin" while ruling Jerusalem. I wish they would keep the old buildings intact, but out of use. It sucks losing all 4 levels in 10 holdings.

My ultimate desire? To drastically improve moddability and leave (almost) everything open to any coder to play with. The rest of the features will come over time, as the community itself adresses its own wishes and ambitions.

Custom Characters in Ironman mode, but only Barony tier and/or ability ot be a city lord/clergy lord with related gameplay. Would be interesting with having a "Become the sprititual leader of your faith/etc or becoming a powerful patrician gameplay, like Hanastic league formed/etc.

Better internal mechanics. Conclave was a step in the right direction, but I'd like a bit more of it.
Deeper trade/economy mechanics would also be interesting. I sort of like EU's, but that's demanding a lot.
More face and clothing packs, the more cultures are properly represented, the better.
Also, an overhaul for the culture system.

China can wait for the sequel, as can slider-based character appearance. I honestly hope they do slider-based appearance though, can't think of a better way to represent family resemblance.

Improved religion, especially religious organizations (e.g. Catholic Church, various non-military monastic orders) with meaningful relations to secular rulers. Religious doctrines and policies as a system similar to secular laws. These would have various effects, e.g. increased church wealth versus less heresies for Catholic policy regarding indulgences. It should be possible for the Catholic church to e.g. never sanction the crusades, or limit them to apostate rulers.

Also, more provincial relations. Ruling half the known world is still too easy. Integrating conquered territories should be much more difficult and involve a choice between more difficult integration (increased RR, increased chance for negative events etc.) or less income and troops.
