After recent DLC Cradle of Civilization(patch 1.23), I noticed that Knights start the 1444 game with core in Sugla. Since I didn't know Knights had inland foothold in Anatolia I want to know historical background for this change.

Development diary(https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/index.php?threads/developer-diary-8th-of-august-2017.1038756/) doesn't say anything about it, debate in Paradox forum is only about culture in the province and all I could find through google about powers in Sugla for 1394~1444 was Saruhan, Aydin and Germiyan.

Could you guys tell me what is the reason behind this change? Thanks in advance.

Less than 50 years before the game start the Knights were holding Smyrna (Izmir). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Siege_of_Smyrna
