What is the proper date for the CKII launcher

Mine is 2/9/2012. size 26kb

If it should be newer, could we please get a direct link, as I have downloaded from gamersgate three times and it has refused to run. Do not even start with my .net 3.5 framework, I have installed that, uninstalled, reinstalled that like 4 times as well, so that's clearly not the issue. Win 7 64-bit, fresh install, gamersgate version. I recall running into this issue a while ago, but I came back and wanted to play it and the launcher will not work. I can run the game directly from the short cut without issue. I'm trying to get the launcher itself to work. I might also try rolling back my system a year and a half, but I'd rather see if there is an updated launcher and where to get it first.

The file takes the date it was installed on, so yours hasn't changed in some time. The correct size for the 2.0 one is 26,624 bytes , if yours matches that then perhaps the launcher itself hasn't been updated in all that time, I don't know offhand.

That has to be false since I deleted and reinstalled yesterday. That means it has the date that it was packaged for distribution. If it has been updated since then, I need it. I still think that a windows update is incompatible with it, I'll try uninstalling the .net 4.0 framework and seeing what happens, then I'll start rolling back windows updates.

Uninstalling .net 4 framework doesn't help. I will attempt a fresh reinstall, then start rolling back. Though this will occur tomorrow as it's 1AM and I am going to sleep.
