Even with considerable air support over the straits of Korea (like 1000 naval bombers), it still tricky at time to cross the straits. I'm aware that building a navy would help, but it's a tall order for China.

paratroopers from Korea onto Japan, take a port, then rush as many divisions into the port as you can, sure some will be intercepted but others would make it ?
Paratroopers seems to be the ticket. I figured having all the allies on my side would be sufficient, but, apparently not.
The safe way is wait until around 43/44 (or later) and invade Japan with Paratroopers while most of the Japanese troops are in the Pacific. You can take them out without a lot resistance if you hit the right moment.
Yes. But as China, you should be able to raise a lot of them, due to the huge size of the Chinese army.
