I've heard the USSR needs to have a minimum amount of manpower deployed on the German border to keep the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact enforced. I thought I read that if the USSR has too few units on the border, the Germans can break the pact early, and invade well before the traditional start of Barbarossa in June 1941. As the USSR, I have about 1 mil manpower on the border right now in Jan 1940, and I'm hoping that's enough to maintain the pact for 17 more months.
Or maybe I'm mistaken, and it's the USSR that can break the Pact early, if the Germans don't have enough troops on the other side of that same border?
Either way, can someone tell me how this works? I poked around the events folder, and I can't find anything about this.
