what is the issue with paradox and states? again

what the issue with the paradox and states? i mean i know that paradox made weird things with states borders in every major update but why adding some states when they clearly just make things looks worse? sure it was probably already discussed multiple times but...idk...i just dont get it

I have no idea why that was added either. Some borders are still imperfect, while that border was perfectly good as it was.
