France, probably will make an early push in Germanys front take some colonies form Italy then some defense and a huge push to take Italy and then wait for Soviet union to get in war with Germany, and then just push.

I think that Italy is the best suited for learning the game because you need to focus on every type of armed forces and you are intended to shed blood before the real fun (1939) starts. Invading Ethiopia and Albania and assisting Franco in Spanish Civil War seem to be a good preparation for the war with Allies.
I'm going to play quite historically with some adjustments:
- as soon as Hitler attacks Poland, I will parlay the fact Allies are busy dealing with Germany into attacking Yugoslavia and eventually, Greece.
- I'll try to squeeze some territory from France (at least the area lost by Kingdom of Savoy as the consequence of 1959 war and the treaty of Zurich, maybe Corsica too). I suppose it may be very difficult to achieve that because of the emergence of Vichy France.
- after the defeat of Britain in Egypt, I will push toward Middle East (may consider taking over Turkey) to open the Caucasus front with the USSR. I'm not sure about attacking Turkey because I suppose it might be very hard nut to crack, especially if Turks decide to ally Soviet Union.
- the alternative to helping Germans with the USSR may be to try to puppet or conquer Iran and then attack British India. It might be quite interesting to betray Hitler later and to liberate whole Europe from genocidal German and Soviet regimes.
I'm going to focus on industry in early years with some necessary preparations to wars that happened before 1939. Not sure about the navy composition yet but I suppose some submarines to damage Birtish convoys might be necessary. Carriers would be amazing but I'm not sure this poor country will be able to afford them. I will focus on naval bombers to even up the preeminent British fleet. In terms of army, it'll be mostly infantry mixed up with some fast divisions (motorized, maybe some tanks) to make encirclements in Africa. After the conquest of Egypt and getting more oil from the Middle East I will consider upgrading all infantry and cavalry divisions into motorized/mechanized or simply drop some fresh tanks against the red menace.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to try Finland, Hungary, UK, Sweden, Japan and Poland so the idea to start as Italy may change
