Well I guess that means we won't be waiting much longer. Just a quick question here, is the patch ready and we are just waiting for copy protection etc. on the patch, or is it just a few minor details that need to be compleated on the patch?

I rasontly read that in the Swedish war against Poland in the 1650s, her ally Brandenburg occupied Prussia and later annexed them. But they still called them self Brandenburg. The name Prussia was taken in 1701.

Have I been missinformed?

I dug this up of the web, its about Prussia.

from :http://europeanhistory.about.com/gi...p://ln.infoplease.com/ce6/world/A0860564.html

"Through the secularization (1525) of the domain of the Teutonic Order by the grand master Albert of Brandenburg, the domain became a hereditary duchy under Polish suzerainty, ruled by a branch of the Hohenzollern dynasty of Brandenburg. In 1618 the duchy of Prussia passed through inheritance to the elector of Brandenburg, and in 1660, by the treaty of Oliva, full independence from Polish suzerainty was confirmed to Frederick William, the Great Elector. Not completely, what happened in the 50s was that it was fully freed from Poland's suzerainty, as IIRC, Hohenzollerns only inherited the Eastern part (which is what "Prussia" is in EU2)

East Prussia (i.e. Prussia in EUII) was known as ducal Ducal Prussia

West Prussia (the bit Prussia got in the first Partition) was know as Royal Prussia.

South Prussia (the bit Prussia got in the second Partition) was know as Posen.

New East Prussia (the bit Prussia got in the third Partition) was known as Mazovia
