what is logistic growth curve doing?

- Increased the minimum growth of planets near the top of the logistic growth curve to 10% from 1%.
Can someone enlighten me, what this is or shall doing?

So instead of the growth being reduced by -2.97 at high populations, the growth is reduced by -2.70.
