Kuozhou is an ashari religion, a Turkish culture. Why is Guozhou a Turkish culture when there are not many Muslims in China?

The chap who did the mapping for Tibet et al did a lot of research for the area - I'm afraid I'm not really well read on the Salar myself, but I've every confidence in the reading of the person who made the decision originally, and in the time we've used them as one of our primary resources for this, they've never let us down and certainly never lacked in detail. Pretty safe bet that their faith is at least as accurate as the rest of the area, done by the same person.
