What Indian nations are you planning to play as in dharma

EU4 dharma has excited me a lot because I just love India.
I plan to play as 'Garha' which was a 'Gond' tribal nation that defeated multiple sultanate and rajput armies before losing to the Mughals.

But which nation in or around the borders of India would you like to play.

Through this thread I want to discuss the interesting histories of the new Indian nations to inspire players and to see which nation they would like to play as.

Mysore a pity they don't have a unique mission tree, still crossing my fingers for some unique events.
Since I've already played the big powers such as VJ, Bahmanis, Bengal and Jaunpur, and prefer not to play the same nation twice, I've decided to try out:
Mysore, Sirhind and Bahlul Lodi, Orissa, Malwa, Gorkha and then a Mughal campaign.
I've been waiting a long time for a India DLC, and I like what I've seen so far, hopefully the wait will be finally over soon.

I am also gonna play as Sayyed Delhi and Gwalior(Their ruler gave the Koh I noor to Babur)

I also plan to give the 1756 bookmark a try.
Or maybe play during the time Nadir Shah invaded India.

About your Mughal plan. Do you plan to form them. If so which nation.
Or if you plan to use a bookmark - Which one?

So far I’ve played as Vijayanagar, Punjab, Nepal, and an Afghanistan > Sikh Mughals game. For Dharma I’d really like to try out some of the new formables. I’m not sure who can form them so I haven’t narrowed down the starting nations.

First game will be forming Marathas and staying mostly in India to force out any colonizers, although I may focus on some trade in the Indies.

Second will likely be forming Rajputana and then pushing into Persia and the Middle East. I think establishing a Hindu Empire in the Middle East could be fun

Both , one starting as Timurids and another starting as Mughals in the 1579 start date.

Mehmet II is 12 and a 6/4/6. How can Malwa's ruler top that?

Malvani ruler is 26 and 5/5/6 and starts with AE impct -10%, perfect for India. I suppose he can convert to Hindu (can he? never done it before) and gain more stats from event making him more powerful than Mahmet - that I want to check in Dharma

Of course Ottos can hire better advsors, but they are crazy overpowered so they couldnt be taken into account in any country comparison

There's no shortage of excellent, young rulers in India but Malwa does stand out due to not only having the greatest stats but also avoiding nasty event deaths (both Orissa and Mewar has their starting ruler die by event in ~1460-1465, though you can avoid the Orissa event by not conquering certain provinces). Other players such as Bahamis are also quite blessed in this area.

Malwa is likely to be one of my 1st choices since I've never played a game with them so far, they have an interesting position and start out with a lot of their territory owned by vassals which is quite unusual as well.

Punjab doesn't start as a nation anymore. It's Sirhind but Punjab is a releasable from them still I'm assuming

I am going to place a role play constraint on myself wherein I would not expand too much in one direction without expanding equally in all.
