Meine Herren...

I come to you today with sad news, Fraulein Mott's status has been officially changed from missing, location unknown...to murdered. The reason I bring this up, is that today, Das Tag will be releasing the names of everyone who was murdered in the Stettin attack. Ja, today we are telling our story to the world, but not the evidence we have...that we will save until we are ready. However, they will be running the names of over 560,000 of our fellow citizens with the caption UMGEBRACHT! This is putting the world on notice that we know that these innocent civilians (and yes, even our beloved II Armeekorp was serving our land..innocently. They were in Stettin to help the area dig out from a severe blizzard) were slain.

As some of you may have noticed, several thousand of our citizens are not happy with our progress with the Den Rachen Krieg (The war of revenge). We must prosecute this war at the earliest opportunity...No later than 1 year from now. The cries of the dead howl in the chill of the winter...and there is only one way they can be silenced.

Herr Avatar018. Is there anyway we can increase our production? How many shifts are we running in our factories now? Could you please look into this?
I fear that once the fighting comes out in the open, we will see who is part of this scheme..and we may find ourselves with more enemies than friends.

I look forward to your thoughts and comments.

General SouthCarolinian, I believe I put our a report earlier that stated where we were building some airports/airfields.

I believe (if memory servers me correctly), you will have to eastern fields from which to base your aircraft from. Oppeln and Breslau. Both are fully outfitted (level 10 fields). In hindsight, it is a very good thing that we did not decide to build a field in Stettin, relying on the Field in Konigsberg to provide northern air cover (which we will either have to build up the supplies for or liberate Danzig to open the supply roads ASAP).

I believe a majority of your stukas are based to the east, with a few on the west. However, they are vulnerable to enemy fighters until our own fighters are produced. A few of your fighters may have to be bumped down in the production queue, in order to produce marines/fallshirmjaegers. If memory serves me correctly, those troops require a bit more time to train, and rightly so...

We would not need to bump more than 5-10 fighter wings down (not cancel).

What would you like your research priorities to be?

Herr Chancellor,

I have inspected the airfields at Oppeln and Breslau, and they are in perfect working order for Stuka and fighter use.

As for the airbase at Konigsberg, there isn't a need to worry about Danzig falling in the advent of war. Our forces with their focus on fast moving Blitzkrieg tactics will be able to sweep aside any resistance and open the roads for supplies.

You are correct Herr Chancellor, Fallschirmjager and Marine units do take longer to train than normal infantry, it is my view though that the extra time is worth it for these elite units.

As far as Panzer divisions is concerned any new Panzer produced should be of the Panzer III variety. Also, for maximum efficiency a serial of 3x4 or more if IC allows. The more Panzers we have the better.

Danke Herr General,

I will look to move some armor units into the production queue. Hopefully our research teams will come through with something that can speed up our production times soon. I have a feeling that we will need it.

Herr Chancellor there are two ways in which to increase our production. One is by appointing a minister with an IC boost or building more cheap units.
Our factories are currently running: Airforce 11 CAS and 30 Fighters : Navy 4 Type IV BC 4 Type IV CA 4 Type IV CL.

Herr Chancellor, I am slightly unclear on one matter. Do the General's order their own units or do I influence what and how much is build?

You can suggest changes, or if you see something that needs to be placed..you can ask that it be placed in the queue. You can also ask that certain techs be researched.

You have your own unit to build as well.

As to saying how much is being built etc...if you see someone's order clogging up the queue or causing undo havoc to it, you can ask that it be delayed (which will mean that it be pushed to the bottom of the queue either in part or in whole) or cancelled out right. Though we want to try to avoid cancelling do to the lost IC invested.

Klar? Let me know if you have any other questions.

We should be opening up the advanced construction portion tonight....you can ask that we focus on a certain branch first. Aircraft, ships, vehicles or Infantry...

No problem. Poland's air force is not what I would call "powerful". Some allies like Iraq or South Africa might bring a little power to the area but not much. The UK and France stay in their skies.

What would you like your research priorities to be?

Mine or SouthCarolinians? I believe I set mine already.

The Armee's research priorities are at this current time as follows.

1. Panzer research
2. Infantry research
3. Mot/Mech research
4. Fallschirmjager/Marine research

If any of the other Ministers or Generals have suggestions I welcome any discussions.

On a side note. I have ordered Doomsday...hopefully we will be done or nearly done when it gets here.

Any interest of running a game on that with the '34 mod on it?

I would be willing to participate in an AAR with mod '34.

I would be too but I heard that mod 34's tech is way different than vanilla.

I have run through several of the research priorities you gave me. Please see the charts below. I need to know if more specifically what you would like me to go into.

Getting ready to hop in the game so will be updating every so often.

Also, if the war kicks off tonight...how do you generals want to handle it? I am more favored for general strategy etc...it will take forever to get everyone to agree and then act on it..

Just my thoughts though.

The CAS force is under the Wehrmact's control. The strength of the Luftwaffe is its ability to work closely with the army, where land commanders need it. As for fighters, I suggest that we deploy what we have as a defensive force for now to keep the Brits from denting our IC too much. While interceptors would be preferable for this task, remember that the defensive phase of the air war will be short lived, especially after we control bases in France.

Meine Generalen,

I hope this aerial photo gives you an overview of the eastern positioning of our troops. We have 10 serial runs of infantry in the production queue, with the first division coming online on 11 Januar, 1939.

EasternFront.jpg

The western front is stripped bare as the enemy we know about is to our east.

But there are some troops to the east. I wil be building your corps as soon as the queue allows it.
