What if you could take psionic and bio ascension at the same time?

And once that combo is selected, you can build a special megastructure called MEGABRAIN. A giant, pulsing mass floating in space. You can use it to make any planetary population in the galaxy kill themselves.

Oh, but synthetics would be immune... Damn it's still a better choice :(

Honestly synth ascension would be balanced if they gave it the 50% growth penalty machine empires had. Having fill organic growth and basically double machine growth is too much

But again, I always agree with ascension paths being OP and extreme in some way.

I'm more in favour of buffing the other 2 than nerfing this one

The Megabrain has a serious flaw, and will die when they fight against someone that is their own grandpa.

I don't know how you play, but in my games growth is usually already extremely slow when I unlock synth ascension. So much so, that I often don't even want to spend resoruces on robot production, since it's easier and faster to just go conquer.

Bio already allows you to get higher bonuses for everything but alloy and consumer goods production. It's better at mineral, energy, food ,research and pop growth.
Not pop growth.
Full bio growth alongside synth assembly is much higher than what bio ascension gets.
And in practice not anything else either... Well...
Unless you're spending hours upon hours of micro moving pops around so they finally after 150 years end up in the right job.

Now if bio could enforce templates on jobs, that would be all it needed to compete with synth ascension.
Because then you'd be almost right.
