Yes I'm wrong. If they are persuaded that simply, no one worries about stupidity of human being. You underestimate the ability of people to complain.

Are you trolling now? You should think about how your parents feed you. From what I hear (/read), concept artists and painters get it as well. That and "Think of the exposure".
It's a common enough experience among creative types to have a joke inserted in Witcher 3 where a wealthy Burgher tries to pay a bard for a love poem with "Experience and Exposure".
Trolling how? If you think there aren't people trying to get artists to do shit for free because "Think of the experience", then you're sadly mistaken. Those people do actually exist, and I'm not entirely certain how pointing out they exist count as trolling...Are you trolling now? You should think about how your parents feed you.
So do you thinik that hundreds of hours a month of professional game developer who has his own life and family can be used for free? You compare it with amateur or on-learning artists? Definitely a troll.Trolling how? If you think there aren't people trying to get artists to do shit for free because "Think of the experience", then you're sadly mistaken. Women in History.
Although, people will say that it doesn't count for some reason (hint, it's misogyny).
To be honest I think you are making a mistake by not marketing it as "Free DLC" the vast majority of people is too foolish to realize that "free periodic features" and "free DLC" are the same thing so it has a different psychological effect when you don't call it "Free DLC".We release free features in patches all the time, it's just that we don't market it as 'free DLC'.
Why? Have they been unsuccessful so far?To be honest I think you are making a mistake by not marketing it as "Free DLC"
are apparently a lot smarter than you give them credit for.the vast majority of people...

And is not like it would be false advertising to call it "Free DLC" that is exactly what you guys been giving us, but just a quick look to the forums will show you that in fact a good portion of the people doesnt realize what they been getting.
capitalism mostly works
Well today's capitalism is arguably kinder and gentler than a few centuries back and I imagine that Europeans in the main do not lay people off to the same degree and with the same bottom line ferocity as has been my experience. I've never been laid off but coworkers crying and afraid for their children's futures has its effect. I'd welcome a model that worked without these downsides but the point remains that money for the salaries, bills and executive bonuses have to arrive on a somewhat timely fashion or all heck breaks lose fairly quickly. The thread topic made me chuckle a bit.Couldn't help but chuckle at this. But still, you make good points.
They, assuming a typical company (can't speak to gaming software from Sweden) probably have a Revenue Schedule to meet that in many companies is set by someone above them such that bonuses, profit sharing and whatever else are set by management where failure to meet the minimum target numbers more than once has consequences.
At one software company where I worked we missed our quarter mostly due to the first Iraq war causing a freeze in government contracts and the layoffs included informing a coworker at the hospital who had just had a miscarriage that she was fired so as to pay the shortest possible termination (half the development team and many outside it for the product).
Europeans seem a bit more touchy feely however and this product seems a bit more loose in its revenue cycle but capitalism mostly works about the same everywhere imo.
In Europe the world is mostly the same. Only difference is that the unions are more powerful, which shows in a heterogenous laws with the goal of softening the firing for the worker. Unfortunately that is getting more or less eaten by rationalisations.Well today's capitalism is arguably kinder and gentler than a few centuries back and I imagine that Europeans in the main do not lay people off to the same degree and with the same bottom line ferocity as has been my experience. Don't get me wrong, communism is terrible, but we are off topic and have lost sight of the not too well thought out OP. >![]()
It would be the last expansion.
The main problem is that the free periodic features are often times coincidentally released at the same time as actual paid DLC. That and you can't really choose to de-activate most of the free features that are added.
