What if? (ideas to improve the game)

Here are some ideas to make the game better. By the way, this is the occasion for me to thank the dev for the amazing job you are doing on this game. We really love you guys, you are giving thousands and thousands of leisure time to people. Thank you.

1) DIP REP - What if diplomatic reputation was affected by the fact of declaring war and not only by taking provinces? As a player we mostly are highly militaristic without any penalty. However in real life your reputation would have been destroyed for declaring on everybody
I think allies should also be affected by this malus
I think blobbing should be more painful on a diplomatic point of view I think

2) ALLIANCE TYPE - What if we could negociate alliances more deeply?
Only defensive alliance: you can't call them in offensive wars
Technology sharing alliance: you get the bonus for 'friendly neighbour province has the tech' if your tech ally has this tech for institutions and techs
Trade alliance: this would look like trade company, I'm not really sure about it but for colonizers it could represent more effectively historical facts. For ex: Vijanagar gives Goa to Portugal in exchange for trade alliance which would give trade bonus to both countries (like +5% trade efficiency? or in certain nodes?). This is weird I agree

3) UNITS - What if some units get special units related to the country they belong (I mean not like janissaries or strelsty but units like galloghais). Swiss were awesome in mountain terrain and it is not really represented in the game (aside from fort and age bonus)

4) WHEEL OF MISFORTUNE - What if the wheel of misfortune become a real feature in the game ?? Jake's series is crazily fun to watch ! Please make it to the game as a special playable feature ! Well i would hurt a bit historical matters but there are things like RNW or sunset invasion in CKII, so why not ? :D
(achievements would be disable of course because of the luck you can get or you might also create some other achievements)

5) REVOLUTIONNARY FLAGS - What if you assign dedicated colors to all the european countries for revolutionnary flags ? I'm sure you have plenty of things to do but guys, purple green and light red tricolore flags are ugly !! I think it could be done very quickly (although i'm not a dev, sorry if not)

6) WAR ELEPHANT - What if the game include ... war elephant? According to wiki war elephants were used until the late XIXth century in indochina. It could be an (AMAZING) special unit for countries in which war elephant was a thing. May be not so efficient and needing troops algonside to be efficient but why not?

7) DYNAMIC FLAGS - What if there were dynamic flags ? Well I think it has been a request since a long time now but this would be so good...
Spain flag in EUIV is a mix of Leon, Navarre, Aragon and Castile...
This would be awesome especially for integrated PU or else... Please do it, we want it so much (could be an option before starting the game if players do not want it)

8) FORTS SYSTEM - What if we had the ability to hide an army in a fort ? To me it does not make any sense to declare a war to an OPM and squish its unprepared army and 'that's it, we won'. AI should be able to hide forces in its capital (or normal) forts and leave whenever they want. With this they could recover their morale a bit a give an honorable fight
The player would not have the possibility to see hidden forces in forts. This way there would be no more 'let's keep 1k to keep the siege and go fight 1000kms away and come back' because there would be more risk to loose such army

9) DYNASTIES - What if dynasties disappeared more easily ? IRL De Valois disappeared for Bourbon. I think it's too easy to keep the same dynasty all game long. This would make easier access to events dedicated to dynasties

10) DYNASTIES TRAITS - What if dynasties have a trait ? May be the ruler could have only two traits and one for the dynasty ti which they belong?

11) DE MEDICI - What if rich italian families could play a better financial role in the game? In the game we are taking loans to some random people. Here you could take loan to a n italian family (in the states interactions may be). if you don't pay your loan back they can convince countries to rival you or lower you dip rep

Dynasties kinda have traits already. In a sense.

Try starting as Austria followed by playing Garwhal or something. Certain traits pop up a lot more frequently than others.
