Hi,
It's been way to long since we had a "WWII What If?"-thread. So here's one:
Training and military doctrine aside, who had the best field phone? Who would win if a company of German and British phone engineers met on the battlefield?
My guess is that the German (sel) OB/ZB would give the German phone company the edge due to its weight. It was more unwieldy than the British Mod. 7b, but the blow would be decisive if it hit an enemy head. The British phone on the other hand might break.
But that is of course just my opinion.
Regards,
EoE
Oh, another thing: Let's say the incident takes place during the phony war - just for arguments sake.
