"What if" Flags

During EU2 I get bored with the same old shield for which ever country I am. This thread is for ideas of what if flags. I was playing as England this morning, conquered France (big suprise), and got the event where I get CBs on all French provinces. The plain old English flag just doesn't do justice for my empire , so I created this thanks to MKJ:

Yeah, those...my idea was to use the finnish cross as the scots in the Union Jack...maybe it´s not possible, but try..

I finished the upper left corner Finland shield, and started work on a prototype for a union jack, but it's hard to make the union jack fit in the EU2 shield slot.

It's up and ready to download. I still haven't been able to get MKJ's flag template to work, so unfortuantly there is no flag_SWE file.

I just finished a what if flag for Spain, where the union was between Castile and Portugal instead of Castile and Aragon.

there sort of was a Hindu confederation of sorts, the Mahrattis. I made their flag and it's in my mod

You need to make a flag for the United Kingdoms of England, France, and Scotland. Maybe the Union Jack with a Fleur-de-Lille in the center.

When doing these kinds of "what-if" flags, what's wrong with simply quartering the flag?

McGuinn had a decent English-French quartered shield that I remember using in EU1 when I was trying to reverse the 100 years war...
