Are there a lot of events in HOI2 that cover situations that are not historical?

One of the things I was dissapointed in HOI is that the events were not very flexible. You got a certain set of events based on history but the events that fired if things went very differently from history were very limited. There was the Bitter Peace that allowed Germany to win in the east but that was about it. I think that it really wouldn't take much more than a little creativity to think up some events for an alternate history.

So can Paradox or that one guy that already hasthe game give up some juicy info on the events?

I wish there was events depending on what you have done ...

... lets say, if you invade UK you can trigger a new array of events ...

So what you do in the game actually makes a difference

It's kinda hard to anticipate events that have no historical precedence (to put the words in the mouth of the president :p ). As you probably know, some of the mods have made a great effort in including stuff like "new world order" etc. into HOI1.
Just wait and someone will mod it. Not necessarily the stuff that you want, but some aspects of alternative history will be served, I'm quite sure.

Events have always been easy to do in Paradox games, so it's just about doing them after HOI2 is released if they aren't there.
