While it may SEEM obvious my Great-Great-Grandfather was a Union Veteran (was captured and did time in the infamous Andersonville prison camp before escaping during a prison transfer and making it to Sherman's Army) and his brother won the Congressional Medal of Honor during the Union victory at Vicksburg....so of course I will be playing the South . Sweden are the mightiest country in the game. There is no way to defeat Sweden even with cheats or edititing the files.

But don't worry I left Sweden some autonomy, if it will be possible (of course only for Swedish New Catholics )

I must admit, playing Sweden and conquering Finland, then joining the central powers during WW1 and beating up on the poor russians while their country falls apart in civil war sounds very fun. by the time it was all said and done, I could control the greatest baltic empire the world has ever seen!

Finland was autonomous Grand Duchy in the Russian Empire, and when that empire dissolved she obviously didn't suddenly become part of any Soviet Russia etc.

Our government was quite capable of `saving us from communism' itself (little too good, if you count the corpses from our own Red-White Civil War of 1917-1918) , but of course it would have been a great excuse for Sweden to attack us.
