Nothing too crazy just Andaluso-Anglo-Saxon (debating on what I want the 7th tradition to be; thinking about castle keepers).

I could have sworn those areas in East Europe (Asia?) were Anglic before hybridization. I wonder if they actually flipped or I just misremembered.

Varangian, a hybrid of Norse and Greek.

Finally a faction with Eastern Roman Legacy that can recruit Varangian Veterans.
Me too. I usually rely on legalism so I can have my heir inherit 5 kingdom titles and everyone agrees to it. And if anyone pisses me off on the way to hybridizing, I pick up the ability to blind and castrate too.

This probably would be offtopik, but i couldn't find appropriate thread. So, culture i come up with:
Stoik ethos,
Warrior Priests (combat bonuses for learning and esoteric education, and learning lifestyle traits),
Philosopher Culture (Pensive improve learning education, and, if that fails, you an get Scholar or Theologian faster),
Mendicant Mystics (help with esoteric traits +economic bonuses for this),
Only the Strong.

+Faith with Unrelenting faith, esoterism and Recruitment doctrine.
Han culture and Taoism/Buddhism religion optional :D

Neat.

Warrior priests - does it stack with Unrelenting Faith and recruitment?

As a Norse Yngling I travled south and Varanguerd into Rome/Latium. There I expanded into Sicily and formed the Kingdom.

Hybridised to Italo-Norse and Kingdom Invaded Italy. Then bought a Claim with Piety for Byzantium and got the Empire Title.
After a while hybridised again to Italo-Greek-Norse.
On the way also swapped the Hellenims and reformed the religion, and added the culture trait for infinite kingdom level holy wars.

With that I formed Rome and looking to grt the Lingua France Achivement.
Maybe for funsies when I conquer into India,I split my Empire and continue and get Unifier trait as a Jain there.

You should have named the hybrid culture Langbard.

Had a lot of fun with a Norse-Occitan culture that I named Gascognan. I could keep useful Norse traits such as Coastal Warriors, while evolving my people toward more "civilized" traits. I later reformed the culture by adding the "Legalistic" tradition, and made an extra hybridization with Basque culture, because why not.

In my very first game I went the hard way: hybrid of Lettigalian (Traditionalist) and Estonian (Traditionalist) to make proper Latvian (historically a hybrid of different Baltic tribes in Latvia represented by Lettigalian and Liivi folk represented by Estonian).
That hybrid required 100% (!!!) acceptance. I dropped that stupid “Staunch Traditionalists” at creation.
Even if I agree proper Latvians are traditionalists, but I needed to hybrid again with a more advanced culture to catch ups Europe (1050 start date).

p.s. Estonians are Op as tribals with their Coastal Warriors (boats), Bellicose and what not.

Currently: Norse-Occitan in Provence (named Provencal because why not): basically Occitan with Bellicose, Right to Prove and Coastal Warriors. Embraced messalianism and swapped RtP to Industrious after gaining high crown authority and changing gender laws to equal. Later created my own heresy and now I plan to heal the schism. Later I want to conquer Levant and create new dualist faith and Outremer culture.

This one started Norse, merged with Andalusian, merged with Butr, merged with Nepali, and then merged back with Norse, four hundred years later, coming full circle and uplifting those backward yokel Norsemen into civilization by their beards. ;)

I mainly tried to get "souvenirs" from my various stops, so traditions unique to the region like African Tolerance and Himalayan Settlers.

I wanted to do all the fun things the Norse do, but not be Norse. So here's the Davvisåmi:

It's allowed me to raid afar, and even go on a Varangian adventure to new lands (reachable from Finnmark, that is).

How did you write in non-english letters for the D's and A?
A lot of it is possible with ALT codes. Here's a website with a code list.

Alternately, I'll sometimes copy a letter from Wikipedia and paste it into the name, but usually that's more trouble.

Another idea, this time purely for RP (just nice to live in civilisation):
Rusian/ruthenian culture, Courtly ethos, Mystical Ancestors, Strong Kinship, Esteemed Hospitality, Marital Ceremonies, Monogamous, and possibly Ritualized Friendship. Slavic faith, with Ritual Celebrations, Ancestor Worship and Christian Syncretism.
