For megacorps it’s more straightforward, managers replace bureaucrats.

But for hive mind and machine intelligence, their play style is distinctive because they have different ways of managing admin cap. Hive minds have the synapse drones which serve a dual purpose and can go over sprawl with less penalty and machine intelligence has more efficient admin cap jobs but takes more penalty for going over sprawl.

what happens to them after the admin cap rework? I hope that they remain distinctive play styles.

perhaps Hive Mind could have a form of synapse drone morale basically a clone of servitor morale with the more percent of synapse drones in their population, the greater the resource output bonus.

I don’t really know what to do with machines though. Personally I would let them keep their admin cap job but nerf it hard.

EDIT: another idea is that machines could act like technocracy but that might be a bit OP. Or alternatively machines could have a job that has massive unity output but has higher upkeep to replicate the current dynamic where they have stronger admin cap generating jobs but they have more upkeep.
