'A colonist from Rebel Scum in route to Newark'
That little rebel boat sailing the seven seas trying to find a place where Anarcho-syndicalists are valued. That Newark colony didn't succeed :(

Hahaha...do the little ships come out of the capital and everything? ...and I guess they go right back?
Yes, they do. It's quite the amazing sight. I believe it took them 6 months to sail from Tahiti (my preferred world anarchy headquarters) to Tahiti. And although you have no state culture, the colonists are always Italian Pagans. :D

In a game as the Rebel Scum, I had to colonize my capital up to city size before being able to colonize anything else. Shouldn't take too long. Where the colonists come from is anyone's guess.

and how do thousands of rebels emerge when the province holds only hundreds?

Come to think of it...I think I recall someone playing as the rebels and the colony ships (until their capital had developed) came from Rome. (Despite it being controlled by, presumably, the Papacy)

Was this your experience prior to establishing your Headquarters of Chaos and Disorder? :)

talking about rebels... playing as spain in 1600, i got a big stability problem. all my american provinces are rebelling, they are way too much in relation to the province size as usual. pushing one stability level needs about 4 years...
do you have any suggestions? its the first time ive used a cheat, not to survive, but because its so damn boring to recruit thousands of troops every month and send them from one province to another. is there any "legal" way to master this situation?? :(

You should not be getting that many rebels in America (or elsewhere), even at stability -3, unless your revolt risk is high from an event, or because of war exhaustion.

The following info at the Wiki might help you figure out what is causing your problem:

Revolt risk:
http://www.paradoxian.org/eu2wiki/index.php/Revolt_risk

War exhaustion:
http://www.paradoxian.org/eu2wiki/index.php/War_exhaustion

If you do have a lot of war exhaustion, you need to make peace with all of your enemies and then just stay at peace for a while to let it die down.

Regarding your stability cost, the reason for that is you've got lots of wrong-religion provinces. You ought to convert them, or get rid of them.

hrmmmmmm.... well, then i guess its a combination of 1) pagan culture, 2) pagan religion, 3) war exhaustion due to massive recruitment and minor wars against arabic nations...

damn! :(

Yes, I think it was. Heretics escaping Rome to find a new life in Tahiti. I believe I've posted my exploits in a thread before, which thread, I don't know. Maybe it was Strange Screenshots. Trudging through that thread's past is fun. :) And something else you'll need to know if you ever decide to try your hand at controlling the rebels, your government collapses every month. Thus, I found out the hard way that your monarch's stats get -2 to everything every time your government collapses. And since the rebel's king is eternal... well, anarchy was established fairly quickly, I'll say. :)

Yes, Newark is filled with anarchacist rebel scum, with zero loyalty to US.
