What happens if I dont use Hq and put my soldiers around just like in other HOI games or attach them to only to theatre HQ

Do I lose something by letting them stay without any HQ ?

Do I lose something if I connect them to just main HQ ?

What is the advante of using whole Hq system ?

Dont get me wrong I also like Hq system and use it a lot.Especially while playing with smaller nations HQ are priceless feature for customazation but while fighting as Germany or Soviets in the midst of war its hard to keep their track.

As explained on the Wiki page, each level of HQ provides a specific bonus to your units, playing without HQs handicaps you. Now there are cases where i often play without HQs...situations like say Japan or Nat China invading Guangxi Clique. There are just 2 VP's to capture, they both are right on the border. I simply place 2 divisions or so and move them across, no need for any hierarchy, its all over quickly.

When playing major nations involved in major campaigns (Barbarossa) they are important. I dont really say too many things are essential as the AI is easy to beat, but they make life easier. Also at somepoint if you choose you can turn the front over to the AI. For example, the AI has a hard time maneuvering in certain places, Finland (as the Soviets) for example. So ill start the campaign, get enough penetration into Finland to where i know the AI can handle it from there and then turn it over to the AI who will finish it off.

Since each level of HQ provides a specific bonus, you may be able to do without one or two of those levels and still maintain a competitive army. For example, once you've researched the doctrine for "Grand Battleplan" or something to that effect, its bonus to reinforcement chance is probably enough that the Corps HQ bonus is irrelevant. That means you can attach stuff directly to Army HQs, which have a much greater command range, and therefore less need for the HQ to chase the divisions all over the map.

I know those pages but there are soo much detail on thats why I asked a simple question...

What happens if I use my units without any Hq and what happens if I all of them to the main HQ any disadvantages ?

Thats all I am asking nothing more...

You don't loose anything per say, you just do not get the bonuses from your HQs and leaders that trickle down such as higher org, better reinforcement chance and combat bonuses from the leaders.

It's actually not a bad idea at times due to the fact that the theater's traits will be very effective and pass 50% down to all units. The main draw to the OOB is the supply bonus of -5% per skill level at the army group, but Logistics Wizard will give -12.5% and be better than a skill 2 army group leader, if that's the best your country could use. Other traits also spread well, so you can maximize the use of a single amazing general.

Also all HQs count as standard non-reserve units, which means that they take up Consumer Goods if your nation isn't at 0 neutrality. It's almost always better to delete your HQs during peace time and remake them later.

actually it might be good idea to only use theater HQ if you want to go full AI control at normal difficulty.. the AI will then never send the troops out side of the command range...and save you a lot of trouble organising stuff
