What happened to the release of this game?

This has to be the most invisible game release I have ever seen, as hard as Victoria was to find, this game is utterly unheard of even at places like EB. Combined with the recent fiasco over Victoria's extremely limited availability and lack of marketing, is this indicative of flaws within Paradox's supply system, or more specifically, Strategy First's?

It's a shame really, my copy has yet to arrive, but if it is as good as CotN, it will be a great game. The budget price might have attracted a lot of mainstream gamers as well.

Don't blame Paradox for marketingfaults, it's not their department. Complaining about SF here won't do much good either, considering this is just one of many companies whose games SF publish. Complain to SF if you must, not here.

I went out to buy TT today and failed utterly.

So instead I went "bargain hunting"

Black and White: 9.99

Axis and Allies, Sid Meir's Alpha Centari, Army Men (3 Pack!): 1.99

Stronghold: 4.99

Hopefully these will keep me busy.

Maybe I'll be able to buy TT when it eventually comes out, but I won't go out of my way for it just because Paradox chooses to allow SF to not distribute their games.

I picked up my copy at the Gamestop at Great Lakes Crossing. It is also apparently in stock at the Gamestops in Macomb Mall, the Westland Center, Twelve Oaks Mall, and Southland mall.

Heheh, not a comment on anything else.. But B/W is still overpriced at 9.99

That package for 1.99 sounds like a bargain though.. Even if the computer adaption of A&A was rather bad, its still worth an evening or two of gameplay.. AC I never got into, but some people claim its the best game ever.

Anyway, it sucks that TT is not everywhere...

I found a copy at the Gamestop near me in Florida. There was one other copy there also. Seems that many Gamestops have a few. EB website indicates a ship date of February 10th.

Edit: EU and EUII are both on "home of the underdogs", putting them in the "not-so-known" category of games. TT and CotN is the even less known brothers of 'em, so do the math...

EU II is still available online and should not be at Underdogs. Paradox and SF should inform them.

I seem to be mirroring you Duuk, I just picked up B&W + CoTN + Valhalla Chronicles + Cluedo in a bargain pack for £20 a couple weeks ago. First time I've seen CoTN in the UK which was the only reason I bought the bundle....

B&W turned out to be the gem of the bunch for me so I can't agree with you Johan!! CoTN proved a little too easy to have any last power but whiled away a couple of evenings so was still easily worth the price tag. Valhalla I haven't tried yet and cluedo, well that one will probably go in the bin...
