Simply put, my Norwegian dynasty was going fine since it was founded in 1414. Decent rulers so far, 100 % legit and strong claims for the heirs, the current king has ruled for almost 50 years now and then... all of a sudden I have a new heir with a different dynasty name o.o

My old heir was in his thirties, but he did not die. For some reason it just switched to a newborn infant who is clearly a fishermans son (3 3 5 muppet) from an unknow family. Can anyone shed some light on this? I have checked the log and the message settings; nothing happened to my heir. There is however someone from my dynasty set to rise to the Danish trhone upon their monarchs death. Could this be my decent previous heir?

I think that It's an event for another nation you are/were having royal marriages with "marriage policies pay off", but, like I said, I think. And I'm not the smartest tool in the shed. Best way to confirm is to see if some nation (that you're having royal marriage with) has same dynasty as your heir. Or to see if the message box displays "Event "Marriage policies pay off" for Navarra/Crete/Byzantine/whateverOtherRandomOPM" or something similar.

But that says in the conditions you are not allowed to have a legal heir, which I had. And I have a noble of my dynasty in line for the throne of denmark, dit not have any event about that either. This is weird :p

Somehow the Brunswickian dynasty seems to be responsible. Still don't know what happened to my heir though. Luckily the muppet died in the first winter of stockholm rebel supression duty and his 15 year old son is a 6 adm 3 war 8 dip leader. Guess his Norwegian mother had some influence in that :p

That article is only accurate for Divine Wind; in HttT there was no check for the target having an heir already (which caused a number of complaints leading to it being changed in DW 5.1).
