What happened to my beautiful empire

I'm playing as the Jewish Irish Emperor of Britannia, it's 1149 and things are going well. got most of mainland Europe and about 3/4 of Israel.

I load the game after the latest patch and suddenly it's 1066 and i'm playing a blank portrait called no-name with no-religion.

I'm playing ironman on a cloud save and i thought this wasn't supposed to happen.

ok, false alarm.

closed the game and tried again and it's working fine now.

quite the scare, i have 40+ hours on this single game.
