What Happened to Achtung Panzer?

I've recently noted that the game: Achtung Panzer: Kharkov 1943 It's not on Paradox game store, also in the forums! What happened to Achtung Panzer?

The rights to the game ended and we didn't renew it. It has happened with a few other games as well (Knights of Honor for example) and it's nothing strange .

typically it's a business decision based on financial considerations. I think you can still find the game on Steam, although it is now published by another company.

Actually people who got it as long as 1.5 years ago might well end up losing the icon too. Unless things have changed I think that when games stop being published by PI they disappear from your icon list unless you had them back when you entered CD keys.

The game was pulled from Steam and is not available anywhere at this time that I know of. I had to buy a copy from some I believe legitimate 3rd party site, and I can't remember where anymore so I can't try it out.

Try at Gamersgate or google "Graviteam Achtung Panzer".

The game is now, as far as I know, distributed by the developer (Graviteam) on his own.

The 2011 original is still sold on Gamersgate, DRM free.

New version (2012) is called Graviteam Tactics, available on Steam.

There was a copyright dispute for "Achtung Panzer" so they re-released and improved it under another name.

Unless you care about the icon, it's still available.
