You're a better man than I... I have it, and have played it, but I keep bumping it down my list with all these damn new games and expacs/DLCs coming out...
Same here, don't think I'll ever get around to playing it again. CK2 is just superior in all ways.

As for what I'm playing while waiting for Runemaster, currently CK2 (Charlemagne), EU4 (Veritas Et Fortitudo), Dragon Age 2 (had it in my queue but never got to play it because of bad reviews), and Tears of Tiara 2 in my PS3.

Currently playing Wasteland 2.

I also play Marvel Heroes and SW:TOR online with friends. We've playing one MMO or online RPG together at least weekly since Diablo 2 over a decade ago.

I'm excited by Civ Beyond Earth and Gal Civ 3.

I'll also second the recommendation of the Silent Storm series. I've played through both the original and Sentinels several times. I wish they had made modding easier, because those games could have gone from good to near perfection with a few tweaks.

Sengoku = one of those underrated Paradox games.

What a pity that it didn'T soll well enough for another patch or DLC.

Heroine's Quest: The Herald of Ragnarok

It's free and fits the setting! (and yes, I mentioned it in the OT forum, I guess I'm so impressed with this game I'm on a crusade to share it)
That's the game that is paying homage to those sierra hero quests games (quest for glory)? I read about it awhile ago. How does it compare to the old sierra games? Think I need to give this a try.

If they told me it were part of the series (an installment I paid full price for in the 90s like the rest of the QFG games) I would not have suspected otherwise!

Reminds me that I'm also playing Warhammer Dawn of War 2 when able - enjoying it more than I thought I would, as used to base building RTS games, but finding DOW2 quite fun, though only 7 missions in so far!

I miss the base building but I like the rest of it. I am sad that levels cap at 20 though, I got campaign still to go but 4/5 of my squads are already max level.

So does anyone who said Skyrim also have the compulsion to collect various things? I mean, I have a constant battle to find enough space for all the books, even with the library in Hearthfire. I also collect Thalmor robes each time I kill one.

Come on, isn't this an obligation for playing Bethesda games?
I try and fit the book collections to the homes, so all books relating to Ysgraammor, the Companions, werewolves etc get stuck in the house in Whiterun
Everywhere gets a copy of Brief History of the Empire of course
Unusual weapons and armour I try and display somewhere fitting, Thieves Guild armour in Riften etc

I NEED to have atleast one copy of every single book and most equipable items stored somewhere.

I like the Riften house for keeping my Thieves Guild stuff, it's mannequins are underground and it makes me feel like I'm hiding it from the general public. Use it for Dark Brotherhood too, ideally. I can't separate my book collection, I like having them all in one place for when I need reference. Typically I try to separate them by genre and type, like all my histories on one shelf, all my fiction works on another.

Keeping this thread with Runemaster, I really hope there's no collectible stuff (EDIT: Except elf ears), otherwise it'll be a huge time sink for me.

I really enjoyed each of the DOW2 games. I didn't miss the has building, and I really liked having squads lead by named characters. It really added a lot. I will say that I was not a fan of those games outside of the story campaign.

Oh, co-op play in DOW2 is really good in the story campaign. With 2 players, each of you gets half of the squads. You can divide the map up that way, and then join together for the hard fights. A friend and I had a blast with it. :)

I NEED to have atleast one copy of every single book and most equipable items stored somewhere.
you guys will kill me for this, I basically use the house to store crap to sell, sometimes I don't even put it in the chest I just drop it near the door. Books? unless they add to a stat they might as well not exist for me.

I'm not much of a packrat either. I tend to sell anything I'm not likely to use immediately, and (at higher levels), I don't even bother to pick up things that are less than 30x their weight in value. The only things I store in the house are stuff I think I'm going to use for crafting. I'm definitely not a collector. I can't imagine ever trying to complete the Stones of Barenziah quest.

I hate that quest so much. It's always just there in my log, taunting me.
