What Format should images be in for Darkest Hour?

I've been trying to put together some models, however they're not showing up correctly in game. I've tried exporting the models in both RGB and indexed mode. My best results seems to be in either indexed mode, where the image is centered but has strange colours or in 24 bit RGB mode where the image has the correct colours but is shifted to the right. How should I be exporting these images?

Try 24-bit bmps. They should have a size around ~58kb.

Its size ends up being 58.6 kb, but it's still looking like this:

The picture looks good. So it must be a problem with the save version/file format.
What is the graphic program u are working with?

Gimp, I believe its version 2.10, but I'm not sure.

It seems to me that it is an export tool problem/error of Gimp.
I cant get the pic running with gimp. With paint.net and PS i have no problems with your pic.
