A quick question for confirm: is the AI integrating vassals?

I know the integration clause is only included in the exploitative subjugation policy, but that's the faction-desired policy for I believe three ethic factions- xenophobe, militarist, and authoritarian. However, there was a dev diary comment that subject integration was something the new system was meant to avoid- I believe there was a mention of the AI not using it, but it might have been 'not use it against the player.'

Is the AI integrating any vassals/protectorates at all?
(Or- framed another way- is only the player able to integrate vassal in practice?)

  • They at least used to only be able to sell resources on the market if they were going over storage capacity, leading to stuff like Lithoids spending decades hoarding food from hydroponics bays without using it for anything. Not sure if this has been addressed by the recent economic improvements or not.
Does the AI selling resources drive down market prices? Do you know resources like alloys suddenly take a jump in price some time?
