What does this command do? command = { type = flagname which = "" }

I keep seeing this command in several AGCEEP (and maybe some Vanilla bean) events as well.

command = { type = flagname which = "" }


Seems like a totally worthless (or incomplete) tag to me, if there is NOTHING within the quotation marks to set a flag. Or am I missing something?

They use it when a country is changing tag to make sure they don't accidentally leave a custom flagname turned on for the new country. E.g. if the old country used MLO_republic and then changed to ITA without resetting the flagname, the game would be looking for ITA_republic.
