What does the "Authorise steam account" button do?

I don't see the button so I think it was related to the sync issue. If you still see it, can you take a screenshot and attach it? You don't need to show any details, I'd just like to see where the button is so I can forward it for investigation.

I think it's a remnant of the sync issue, quite possibly your account got out of sync hence the need to activate it again. No harm in authorizing it again though . I'll send it over to the tech team though and see if anything seems off. Gut feeling: nothing to worry about .

The forum only syncs when the button is clicked. If it gets out of sync and you don't click it, items won't disappear. You shouldn't have any issues if you authorize it now .
