I'm trying to work my way toward getting a Royal Marriage with Denmark, as their ruler is 63 years old and I could spread my dynasty to them. Issue is their ruler is infertile (giving malus toward RM requests), so the only option I have for them to accept an RM offer is to flip their attitude to Friendly. How much opinion do they need to have of me for them to flipping flip though?!

Over a hundred (then the ai will show the heart if no extra modifiers are there)or take a same rival you could also go for a gift, guarantee them or I fluence them (if they are small enough that is) or use scornful insult on their rivals to get the opinion up, plus dip rep is great, so get an advisor and a 100 legitimacy.

increased dip rep won't really get me close enough, this is the current situation for acceptance

Could you get LO to annul their alliance with Denmark to reduce the "too many diplomatic relations" malus? Either demanding it diplomatically, or declaring on their ally and separate peace LO for annul treaties with Denmark would work.

This is your best bet. AI Denmark tends to be difficult to ally in the early game due to their preexisting unions. Much like AI France, in fact. Find some way to free up some diplo slots for them and be ready to hawk immediately and you ought to be good.

Funny, 'cause as Hungary, Denmark is usually one of the most available allies to me in the early game. Along with Aragon/Spain.

Countries don't flip to friendly based on relations. Sure, having good relations helps, but I have seen countries in negative relations go friendly and +150 countries as neutral or even hostile.

Attitude (in this case) mostly has to do with how much a country feels like it needs new allies.

I tried checking that with all of their allies but I wasn't close enough geographically to have a CB on them, which is like -50 reasons for the Break Alliance request.

After I returned to peace I rivaled their rival Poland and they instantly became friendly, so it worked out. Their ruler hasn't died yet though... the Infertile trait should give me some luck in them not getting an heir anytime soon though.
