What does conversion speed bonus do

Hi there,i'm a new player,so im a bit confused about what does conversion speed bonus mean and what does it do?thx

It’s how quickly you can convert a civilian factory to a military factory, or vice versa.

I think I’ve used it precisely once in 550 hours.

If you were referring to Equipment, it increases how fast you can upgrade surplus equipment in your stockpile into the next higher (allowable) equipment, i.e. medium tank 2 ---> medium tank 3. Helps a lot, especially after you start capturing enemy equipment.
