I'm really good from 1500 on but medevial history really wasn't my field so I'm wondering what changes this start date will mean?
Spain: The reconqustia isn't complete. Spain, for that matter, doesn't exist as it is Aragorn and Castille.
France: Anglo-Burgundian forces control most of the north and Loire valley- including, IIRC, the Il de France region. Where will the French captial be? What are Joan of Arc's leader stats?
Burgundy: A powerful and learge Burgudnian state in the middle of Europe.
England: A major continental power becuase of territory in France.
Poland- Lithuania: Not united until around 1450 IIRC.
Turkey: Doesn't have Constantinople from the Byzantines.
Russia: Under the control of the Tartars and doesn't even have such key provinces as Novgorod or Tver.
Anyone can coreect me or add to the list. We thought we had some wild alternate histories with the 1492 start date- this opens up all kinds of scnarios as the "majors" in many cases aren't all that major yet.
