Will it be the german minors or perhaps Byzantium? I suppose it could be rather hard to unite france aswell. Overall i hope that EU2 will be more of a challange then EU1 is nowdays.

I think Zimbabwe, Songhai, Byzantium and Muscovy will be hard as well as fun though, maybe Dai Viet because of a possibly modernized China.
I still think that the nation called "500 Natives, Agressiveness Low" will be the most difficult nation to play in the game....

I just hope Byzantium isnt as strong as it is in IGC. There is no problem to rebuild the empire in IGC as Byzantium.
in my opinion kingdom of Poland will be pretty hard to play as.
it's a lot smaller than in EU and is not nearly as powerful as it is in EU. Poland is surrounded by enemies to north, south, and west. the only friend kingdom of Poland has is the Grand Duchy of Lithuania (i guess France has good relations with Poland but they won't much help until they fight back burgundy and england.

Still Poland cant be harder than Austria at this time. It should be much smaller than it was 1492. Archbishop of Salzburg should be a sovereign of his own country. I also think that County of Tyrol was a autonom state.
Oh Muscovy will be easy I bet! I mean they have to be if they are gonna evolve into Russia!
i think so to, probobly some great events and great leaders, at the same time as the mongols suffer bad events.
Which means hard to play in the area will be Novgorod......if you survive Muscovy's advance, there still then should be the Swedes coming from the west.........and don't lets' write off the Teutonics, who should be a little tougher in EU2 (unless Paradox settles for the same bodge-job Baltic coast we got in EU
