Also, what army do you use to deal with France? Me, a 24 infantry divisions army and, on top of it, another 24 divisions armor and motorized infantry army. I'm wondering if it's too much, and I'm using a huge undersupplied army when I could be using a smaller supplied army.

Personally I don't bother with Scandinavia at all as Germany, unless I want to use Iceland and Greenland as stepping stones towards Canada and USA. And if I do, I would get Denmark before igniting WW2. (If you take Iceland, the even will still fire, but the country won't appear.)

As for France, the key to France is not to go through the Maginot line. The normal route is Belgium, since both Switzerland and the Italian route are mountaneous.

But far more important IMHO is to divide the war: Deal with the allies before getting into a war with Russia. The Molotov-Ribbentrop pact can delay the eastern war a year or two if your skill and methods aren't fast ... but you if you take that long to deal with the allies, you run a significant risk of USA joining the party.

The problem with the allies is crossing the channel. Bringing Italy into the war is one way of distracting the british navy, paving the road for naval invasion. Building lots of aircrafts, like with 2/3rds of your MIL, is another. If all else fails, do an aerial invasion; the AI stinks at stopping those. Though aerial invasion also requires lots of aircrafts.

As for your actual question, I sadly have no clue. :/

Beause I like playing historical I will usually do this, but you don't have to do Norway before France. I do suggest taking Denmark quickly though as it blocks the British from entering the Baltic sea

After denmark, I first take out sweden, then norway and only then go after france and the benelux. Gives me direct access to plenty of tungsten, and has the byproduct of launching the assault on the west more or less on it's historical date.

I take Denmark in late 39, after the focus, to allow my navy to train unmolested in the baltic sea.

Norway invasion starts around April 1940, when the research for naval invasion II is done.
Fall Gelb, the western campaign, saw me recently in a veteran difficulty with all allies max buffed tear up france in 5 weeks.
The main push was through Luxemburg, with 14 armour and mot divisions, while 4 armour/mot pushed through the Netherlands heading towards the Randstad, the fat victory points on the west.
The ardennes push went 3 provinces wide after Luxembourg, racing as fast as possible past the river Meuse, through southern Belgium and northeast France. The armour army got followed up by a 24 inf reserve army, while the two armies on the Belgian border and the Maginot line stretched further inwards.

So, total forces used:
Some 72 infantry divisions, 10 armour and 8 Mot/Cav divisions.
3500 Fighter and 1600 heavy Fighter airplanes, some 800 TAC, 300 CAS. Only tanks ever attacked.

Against maximum buffed France and England.

How do you make so many planes? What do you leave behind in order to prioritize planes so much? You must have a million refineries.

Wonderful Questions!

I didn't pay much attention to supply, but also didn't go for 40w armour. I stopped the tanks once I reached Calais to regroup and stabilize the front as french resistance increased.

Planes were built in 35-40 factories total, and I really skimped only on artillery and infantry equipment - and other plane types. I did however also build 2.5k AA and AT each.

Refineries were one key investment in my industrial buildup, the other being collaboration government missions.
I must have had some 20 of them, and well, I went on closed economy when war started, bought some rubber from NEL and when that wasn't possible, took the few weeks of decreased production, getting it back up when Vichy France sold me their rubber.

France first. In fact, the Germany game I'm playing now is in 1942 and I still haven't attacked Norway.

Ironman and whatever the max difficulty is. France in April 1940. 24 trash infantry on the Maginot Line. Five good Mountain divisions north of that. Main thrust was an Army of six Light Armor and two Motorized divisions backed by about 10 good infantry divisions. About 600 fighters, 150 CAS, and 500 or so Tac Bombers.

The Maginot Line got rolled up from behind after the Mtn divisions pushed through the forests. The mobile divisions and good infantry pushed through the Low Countries and by the time they got to France there was almost nothing there so they rolled to Paris.

Took about two weeks. My Air Force was greatly outmatched. Didn't actually matter.

France first, as soon as I finish Poland. The focus trees even encourage this.
