There's no real easy way to do it in DD.
In Armageddon, it's easy as a click, plus you get some neat add-ons and an AI that's actually worth your time fighting.
It's worth the fiver to solve your problem and have a much more fun game in general, IMHO.

Well the thing is I have armageddon , but I am using the 1914 mod and its the only place I really have a problem with it. As Austria-Hungary I keep getting spammed German Expeditionary Units.
