What do civilian factories from trades do?

Hi there!

After watching the new world war wednesday video now, i was wondering one thing:

In the attached file, you can see, that Johan owns 59 civilian factories and has 6 civilian factories from trade, which makes a total of 65 civilian factories. Now here's the thing:

27 factories produce consumer goods
5 factories are used for import trade
15 factories produce one civilian factory for the West Midlands
12 factories produce one civilian factory in Cornwall

This makes it a total of 59 civilian factories in use, which is exactly the amount, that Johan originally has. So what is happening with the factories from the exports, since they don't do anything at all in this picture???

It may be a bug, but the game say he is using 65 of 65 factories. Germany also seems to have the same problem so it is probably a bug.

I thought the same thing, but i am not sure, if the "65/65" stat could say, that 65 factories from 65 factories are working and undamaged (not bomded, sabotaged, etc.). And the bar for the Jordan civilian factory doesn't change also...

Edit: Sorry for the long white bar. I had quite some problems uploading the file, since i got errors several times. I'm more in laws, than in IT...

Are they just not in that screen? The list isn't sorted by # of factories used so I would guess they are building something at the bottom of that screen.

Edit: or it might be sorted by # of factories used and the top two rows are always there.

As i have seen, the used factories are always on the top of the production list. You can prioritize production like in HOI3, so that you can have planned factories in the middle of the list, which could be half ready, but not worked on.

From what i've undestood, you can assign up to 15 existing civilian factories tp produce one factory. If this maximum limit is reached, the next available factories produce the 2nd factory on the list, till the limit of 15 is reached and so on. So logically, it should be 15 for Cornwall and 3 for Jordan on the picture, if you add the traded civilian factories...

Edit: If this procedure above explained applies, it would be useless, to produce factories all over the world like johan does, and just focus on a strategic comfortable area by queueing up the factories there, since you can't produce more than 2 factories at a time on the picture. Really, Jordan can be invaded by Italy during war, while the Homeland could be more secure...
