What DLCs are recommended?

Hello all,
What DLCs are recommended? I've played the base game of EU4 for about 80 hours now, and I am quite enjoying it. What DLCs are recommended to play with, and which ones to get? All I have currently is the Star and Crescent DLC which I had got from a discount on Steam.

In general, Art of War (AoW), Common Sense (CS) and in a lesser degree Rights of Man (RoM) are considered to be the best to start with. The rest is more or less depending on what you find interesting: Third Rome (TR) for example is good if you like to play as a Russian minor, Mandate of Heaven (MoH) is good if you like to play in Asia, etc. Look at the features each DLC gives and decide on that which DLC you want to buy.

Art of War, Common Sense , The Cossacks and Rights of Man are the milestone ones that accompanied some major gameplay mechanics.
Besides that, what Tom D. says, read about the DLC features in their steam store pages and see if something looks especially interesting for ya

I'd recommend all the major expansions. They're probably all worth it on sale.

As to which are the most important if you're on a budget - AoW, Wealth of Nations, Common Sense, Cossacks, Rights of Man.

Astute readers are probably noticing that I've mentioned a group of DLCs that everyone mentions plus one that is rarely mentioned. Wealth of Nations. Wealth of Nations enables Trade Companies. Without access to Trade Companies you are playing with one arm tied behind your back. Being able to get zero autonomy land without the need to make states is massive. And you can do it in most of the richest land outside of Europe. It's a total game-changer.

I see that most of the DLC are already on sale with the current Holiday sales, do you expect another sale after New Year?
